Ian Poulter is a hot name in golf right now. I first saw him when he became the face of Cobra’s limited editions all-white ZL driver earlier this month at the HSBC Tournament. These are a hot ticket item for this holiday season; only 500 are available globally. Not to mention it looks pretty awesome. If you want to enter to win one like I did, Cobra is doing a giveaway (I love free stuff) Register Here
He is a borderline top 10 golfer. He recently earned his tenth European Tour title at the USB Hong Kong Open. But is he about to become an elite player? Already 34 he could still hit his golf prime and work his way up into the upper crust of the top 10. Playing inconsistently could be his greatest downfall however. This next golf season will be looking to see if he can prove himself to be a top golf competitor. Next up is the Race to Dubai, which is only a two-man race right now between Graeme McDowell and Martin Kaymer, but Poulter is hanging on in fifth. The winner will be decided this weekend at the Dubai World Championship.
