As the race finished up in Dubai over this holiday weekend, it had a good ending for Martin Kaymer. He won the European Tour Money title, after tying for 13th and Graeme failing to place 3rd or higher. The race was only between Kaymer and Graeme McDowell, who fell short at the end of this season. Kaymer ended the season with the best standing he could hope for, European Tour’s # 1. Kaymer has even higher hopes for next year, dethroning Lee Westood out of his # 1 world ranking.
The actual winner of the tournament in Dubai went to Karlsson who won on a penalty because of Poulter’s fatal error which, gave him a one-stroke penalty during his putt for par. Not to mention he also won a pretty neat looking scepter. Looks like next season will be another race to see who, if anyone, can take over the #1 spot.
