Not realizing how much the WGC Accenture Match Play was like March Madness (which I love) I have completely failed and didn’t fill out a bracket. By now I have a pretty good feeling of all the players from watching the Golf Channel as much as possible. Good thing there is always next year.
Some surprising upsets by the end of yesterday’s first round. First to go was defending champion Ian Poulter, the first defending champion not to move on to the second round for 9 years. Then in not so shocking news Tiger Woods and his new swing didn’t make it past the first round, defeated by Bjorn. It’s not all bad news, J.B. Holmes stepped in last minute for Tim Clark and was able to beat out Camilo Villegas. Well mark off your brackets and count up your wins (or keep watching if your me) and we will see what happens at the Ritz-Carlton today.
