Could A Rookie Win The Masters?

Even though a rookie has only won 3 times at the Masters this shouldn’t be a discouragement. This year reigns in 19 more rookies dare to take on the course. As it’s known in the golf world Augusta has some of the most difficult lies and sight of lines. There are players who take this challenge on like their own. 5 players who have been granted their ticket by winning PGA Tour tournaments this past year-Arjun Atwal, Jason Day, D.A. Points, Jhonattan Vegas and Gary Woodland. However, there are still the dark horses who have a shot. A player like Rickie Fowler, rookie of the year claims he isn’t overwhelmed by taking on the course. At only 22 he would really skew the average Masters winner (31.66). But does mean that they could win against defending champions like Phil Mickelson who’s game is at peak form?
